Seller Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

By registering as a seller on Articea, you agree to be bound by this Seller Agreement ("Agreement"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Articea. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Seller Eligibility

To become a seller on Articea, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Product Listings

As a seller, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful product descriptions
  • Use only images that you own or have permission to use
  • Price your products fairly and comply with all pricing regulations
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels
  • Not list prohibited or restricted items
  • Ensure all products comply with applicable safety standards
  • Honor the prices and terms displayed in your listings

4. Order Fulfillment

You agree to:

  • Accept or reject orders within 48 hours of receipt
  • Ship accepted orders within the timeframe specified in your listing
  • Package products securely to prevent damage during shipping
  • Provide accurate tracking information when available
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Process refunds and returns in accordance with our policies

5. Fees and Payments

Articea charges the following fees:

  • Transaction Fee: 10% of the total sale price (including shipping)
  • Payment Processing: Standard payment processing fees apply
  • Payout Schedule: Payouts are initiated 10 days after product delivery or after the return period expires, whichever is later

All fees are deducted automatically before funds are transferred to your account. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' notice to sellers.

6. Prohibited Activities

Sellers are prohibited from:

  • Selling counterfeit, illegal, or stolen goods
  • Manipulating product reviews or ratings
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities
  • Circumventing Articea's payment system
  • Harassing or abusing customers or other sellers
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Using automated systems to manipulate the platform

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your product listings, images, and content. However, by posting content on Articea, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

8. Returns and Refunds

Sellers must accept returns within 30 days of delivery for any reason. Refunds must be processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item. The seller is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was defective or not as described.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your seller account if you:

  • Violate any terms of this Agreement
  • Receive excessive customer complaints
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Fail to fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain a seller rating below acceptable standards

10. Limitation of Liability

Articea is a platform connecting sellers with buyers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of seller listings. Sellers are solely responsible for their products and any claims arising from their sale. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Articea, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.

13. Changes to Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
